Responsibilities
Work with clients and implementation teams to understand data distribution requirements
Perform data analysis and data mapping to support generation of client‑ready outputs
Build and maintain data extract scripts with guidance from senior engineers
Help optimize extract performance and troubleshoot issues
Participate in a collaborative, high‑performing engineering culture
Seek guidance from mentors and team members as you work through challenges
Join client meetings as appropriate to understand requirements and project context
Contribute ideas for improving processes, documentation, or workflow efficiency
Qualification
Required
Foundational experience working with healthcare data (coursework, projects, other internships)
Interest in and understanding of healthcare data domains (Membership, Claims, Provider, etc.)
Ability to write SQL queries and perform data analysis, profiling, and reporting
Curiosity about performance optimization and willingness to learn how to tune queries
Comfort working with large data volumes
Ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Analytical mindset and interest in problem‑solving
Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and approaches
Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong SQL skills or academic exposure to database concepts
Preferred
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks
Familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
Experience or curiosity about working with cloud‑based data services in healthcare environments
