Responsibilities

Provide overall communication and visual support for a variety of DLE-GIFT projects and priorities to meet DLE global business needs
Undertake creative assignments which may include design and production of newsletters, reports, summaries, or presentations, utilizing various print, digital media, or communication platforms
Document GIFT events (Collaboration sessions, Benchmarking efforts, etc.) through video/audio recording and documentation, and editing and revision of video assets
Assist or take the lead with the development of treatments, presentation boards, and digital presentations. Leveraging visual and design skills for assignments, which may include layout and graphic communications, photo shop, pitching concepts, and otherwise, fleshing out ideas relevant to GIFT projects and priorities
Assist DLE-GIFT logistics and daily execution needs, with tasks which may include creating and maintaining schedules, note-taking, presentations, research, or documentation
Contribute to the development or maintenance of systems for organizing, tracking, and managing DLE GIFT work streams, data collection, research, and information sharing
Support execution of DLE-GIFT relevancy consults, which may entail research, summaries, communication, and collaboration on projects with various internal and external stakeholders
Gain a deep understanding of the role of live entertainment in Parks and Resorts by various means, which may include benchmarking park experiences and content, or participating in customized learning sessions to become an integral member of the team

Required

Demonstrated proficiency with Keynote, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong visual presentation, writing/positioning, and editing skills
Strong video production skills
Well-versed in AP Style, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including days, nights, and holidays
Flexibility to travel for work, which may include ground travel as a team member
Competent communicator, as may be required for presentations and reporting
A self-starting attitude, willingness to carry out responsibilities independently, and to explore new ways of working
Curiosity about live entertainment and an instinct for thinking inclusively and seeing a world of diverse people, perspectives, and ways of expression
A creative, strategic, solution-oriented mindset
A diversity of work experiences and skill sets, which reflect a broad range of competencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under strict and aggressive deadlines

Currently enrolled as a Senior or Graduate student earning a degree majoring in Communications, Digital Media, Writing, Public Relations, or a related field
Must submit your best 10 pieces of artwork
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Possess a valid US driver's license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

Preferred

Experience using social media and video editing software
Experience in theater, themed entertainment, communications, public relations, marketing, or event coordination, preferably outside of an educational program
Current valid U.S. driver's license: Operating a company vehicle may be part of this role
Proficiency in Research tools and/or database management tools with the ability to organize multiple layers of documentation
