TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (LOGISTICS)
USAJOBS is seeking a Training Instructor in Logistics to serve as an instructor with responsibility to plan and conduct classroom, laboratory, and/or field instruction sessions using lesson plans as a guide. The role involves monitoring and evaluating student progress, maintaining and developing training materials, and counseling students to resolve problems.

Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males must be registered for Selective Service
Must complete initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s)
Must satisfactorily pass or satisfy requirements of AF Basic Instructor Course within 90 days
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements
You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program
Must submit a copy of your official transcripts
Must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems
Must have a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
Must have one year of progressively higher-level graduate education but have not obtained a master's or equivalent graduate degree
Must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible
Attendance in Supply Craftsman course or Advanced Supply management course required
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of instruction
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Knowledge of training ads and devices used in training programs
Specialized knowledge of Logistics Readiness and Regional Supply Squadron interfaces and operations
Specialized knowledge of the air Force Standard Base Supply system, supply policies and regulations
Specialized knowledge of AF retail and wholesale supply such as D043, Fedlog, Winmass
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Knowledge of instructional design and materials development for assigned courses
Knowledge of tests and measurement principles, techniques, and objectives
Skill in accomplishing special training studies and projects
Knowledge of security program responsibilities
Skill in operating Window based computer applications and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Specialized knowledge of supply computer programs and utility programs to include Discoverer and STAS
Skill in data inputs to include Technical Training Management Systems (TTMS) and other student related documents
Ability to comprehend and function, independently in and with the provision of AFMAN 23-110
Skill in navigating and explaining the various functions, and effects of WebCats
Ability to demonstrate a functional knowledge of other logistics related computer programs, i.e., WebVlips and Ils-s
Specialized knowledge of warehouse storage practices and materiel handling equipment
Specialized knowledge of issue, stock control procedures and associated SBSS transactions
Specialized knowledge of MRSP management and deployment procedures
Specialized knowledge of contingency and manual processing procedures
