Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end Coupa AMS / Run operations (L2/L3)
Act as primary escalation point for Coupa incidents, problems, and changes
Drive incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions
Manage SLA adherence, backlog ageing, and priority‑based ticket governance
Lead war‑room calls during critical business disruptions
Proactively identify risks related to: Transaction failures, Integration errors, Supplier / invoice processing issues, Performance and availability
Provide hands‑on support across Coupa modules: Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Invoicing, Expenses, Sourcing, Supplier Information Management (SIM)
Troubleshoot configuration issues related to: Business rules, Approval chains, Accounting structures, Tax and compliance setups
Support Coupa releases and quarterly upgrades from impact analysis to hypercare
Bring prior end‑to‑end Coupa implementation experience to support: Better issue diagnosis, Design‑aware fixes, Faster resolution of complex functional defects
Support: Design workshops, UAT defect resolution, Transition from implementation → run
Leverage implementation knowledge to recommend process improvements and configuration optimizations
Own and support Coupa integrations with ERP and peripheral systems: SAP S/4HANA / ECC, Oracle Fusion, Middleware (SAP PI/PO, CPI, Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.)
Troubleshoot: API failures, Batch / real‑time integration issues, Master and transactional data mismatches
Coordinate with ERP, middleware, and infra teams for end‑to‑end resolution
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and timely processing
Act as Coupa Support Lead and Client SPOC
Run governance forums: Daily / weekly operational reviews, SLA and backlog reviews, Monthly service reviews
Provide transparent reporting on incidents, risks, RCAs, and improvement plans
Support service improvement initiatives and backlog clean‑up drives
Mentor and guide Coupa support analysts and junior consultants
Define and maintain: SOPs, Runbooks, KT and transition documents
Drive dependency reduction and skill upliftment within the support team
Support onboarding and transition of new resources

Required

8–12+ years overall experience in ERP / Spend Management / P2P platforms
5–8+ years of Coupa experience covering: Production support (AMS) and at least 1–2 full lifecycle Coupa implementations
Proven experience handling business‑critical escalations and SLA recovery
Strong hands‑on knowledge of: P2P, Invoicing, Expenses, SIM, Sourcing
Solid understanding of end‑to‑end P2P business processes
Strong Coupa integration knowledge: Coupa APIs, Flat‑file / batch integrations, Real‑time integrations
ERP integration experience (SAP / Oracle preferred)
Middleware exposure (CPI, PI/PO, Mulesoft, Boomi, etc.)
Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
Ability to manage executive‑level escalations and governance calls
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Finance, or related field

Preferred

Coupa Certification (Implementation / Core / SIM / P2P) – strongly preferred
ITIL certification – good to have
