Responsibilities
Work directly with Liaison & Production Engineers to complete new designs and modifications and release detailed drawing packages
Integration and testing of mechanical systems and equipment, including:
Requirements development and traceability
Research and identification of potential solutions to design objectives
Detail design and installation
Test case development, execution, and troubleshooting on both bench and aircraft
Generate high quality reports and test plans that will be used to meet FAR Part 23 requirements
Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical systems issues reports from production and field aircraft
Create and revise solid models and detailed drawings components and assemblies using Creo Parametric
Manage, promote and release engineering data using Windchill PDMLink
Follow all safety standards and policies and ensure a safe operating environment, including use of appropriate protective equipment and identification of potential safety concerns
Qualification
Required
Current junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant degree
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
Must be able to complete entire duration of internship
Must be able to secure local housing for duration of internship
