Responsibilities

Lead process flow and fixture design to improve efficiency and quality
Develop and troubleshoot PLC/controls systems for automation
Drive planning, capital projects, and strategic initiatives
Create and manage CAD models and technical documentation
Mentor junior engineers and peers by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to elevate team capability and performance
Manage projects, CI initiatives, and Lean implementation
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
Apply DFM principles and manage ECNs/ECRs
Provide hands-on support and resolve complex production issues
Own deliverables, demonstrate growth, and communicate effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
Capable of performing standard data analysis to support manufacturing decisions; interprets trends and variances in production metrics with guidance and contributes to identifying process improvement opportunities
Proficient in designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC systems; independently develops and integrates complex control logic to support automated manufacturing processes. Experience using a multimeter
Expert in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks; independently creates, modifies, and manages complex 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings to support engineering and manufacturing operations. Design weld fixtures, shop equipment, navigate complex models to review and diagnose a complex machine
Leads complex projects from planning through execution with minimal oversight; coordinates cross-functional teams, manages timelines and resources, and ensures alignment with business goals and customer expectations
Experience in continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma. Experience leading capital projects with ROI justification. Experience in CI methodologies, including Kaizen root cause analysis
Experience working hands-on, troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Communicates clearly and confidently across all levels of the organization; adapts messaging to diverse audiences, facilitates productive dialogue, and provides constructive feedback with empathy and precision
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and influence skills; communicates with clarity, confidence, and strategic intent across all levels of the organization
Possesses deep product knowledge and applies it to understand customer applications and recommend optimal, technically sound solutions
Operates independently with a high degree of initiative and accountability; consistently drives results with minimal supervision
Applies advanced critical thinking to anticipate challenges, resolve systemic issues, and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts
Forms and leads high-performing teams; works with peers and junior engineers to elevate team capability, engagement, and knowledge sharing
Delivers compelling presentations and adapts communication style to diverse technical and non-technical audiences with professionalism and empathy
Champions continuous improvement and lean thinking; actively contributes to strategic initiatives and the adoption of new technologies
