Responsibilities

You will create and maintain robust mobile applications for government clients leveraging React, Python and AWS
Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers for seamless integration
Troubleshoot and resolve back-end performance issues
Ensure compliance with government security and data standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of back-end development experience in SaaS or mobile environments
Experience with government contracts and secure API development
Strong knowledge of database design and optimization
Strong background in microservices development and microservices design patterns
Experience with pytest for unit testing
Strong working knowledge of native AWS services such ECS, ECR, ALB/NLB, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Cognito, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB
Experience in Agile/Scrum including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives
Solid experience with Code Reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality across the team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
An unwavering desire to not only “satisfy” our customers, but to “delight” them
U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract stipulations
