Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Appian-based business process management (BPM) applications supporting mortgage operations
Translate business requirements into scalable Appian workflows, rules, and user interfaces
Build and optimize SAIL interfaces, process models, expression rules, and integration
Qualification
Required
6+ years of hands-on experience in Appian application development
Deep expertise in the Appian platform, including SAIL interfaces, process models, record types, expression rules, and integrations
Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPM) and workflow automation
Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end enterprise workflow solutions
Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling, including relational schema design and enterprise database integration
Hands-on experience with API integrations, including REST/SOAP services and secure integration patterns between Appian and external systems
Working knowledge of Java, with the ability to support custom integrations, plug-ins, or backend services when required
Experience working within AWS cloud environments (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc.)
Experience in mortgage or financial services domains, preferably supporting Freddie Mac programs or platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac exposure highly preferred
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (Git)
