Responsibilities

Working and interacting across functions such as Operations, Quality, and Test to ensure operators understand requirements and production processes are accurate and executable
Facilitating Work In Process (WIP) flow of hardware by reviewing and dispositioning material, performing engineering inspections, and creating rework/repair routers/instructions
Updating Manufacturing Data Packages (MDP) to incorporate process improvements, design changes/updates, new processing equipment, new or modified assembly tooling/fixturing, and other methodization changes
Generating new MDP’s for existing production and new programs. Includes engagement with design/re-design efforts and participation in Design For Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) tasks as required
Enabling Continuous Improvement through methods/process changes, tool and fixture development, automation and other innovation initiatives to improve cost, cycle time, quality, and safety
Driving resolution of TDP to MDP errors and/or discrepancies by submitting engineering Change Requests (CR) and documenting problem resolution and resulting actions

Required

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 0-2 years of prior relevant experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools (preference for CREO/ProE) and/or simulation tools
Experience/familiarity with Manufacturing/Enterprise Resource Planning (MRP/ERP) tools and systems (ie PRISM/SAP)
Experience/familiarity with Manufacturing Shop Floor Management tools and systems (ie cMES)
Experience/familiarity with Product Data Management tools and systems (ie Windchill/PDM)
Familiarity with military and industry standards
Experience with conducting safety/ergonomic assessments
Familiarity with standard material handling practices, especially as they pertain to Electrostatic Discharge mitigation requirements
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Word, etc…)
Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
Self-motivated and results oriented individual with an ability to work in a team environment and with minimal direct supervision
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines
Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology
Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
