$40/hr - $50/hrEPITEC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to ensure robust Body Shop quality systems and manage the Process Control Plan. The role includes overseeing torque systems, leading quality meetings, and representing the Body Shop in audits.

Responsibilities
Ensuring robust Body Shop quality systems through management of the Process Control Plan (PCP), PFMEA processes, and Built-In Quality (BIQ) requirements
Coordinating PCP updates, driving error proofing and PFMEA risk reduction activities, and serving as the Body Shop’s PFMEA subject matter expert
Supporting core joining and fastening processes by overseeing torque systems, wrench calibrations, torque gun qualifications, and weld quality checks
Leading weekly weld meetings, monthly Joining Board reviews, and collaborating with Production teams to verify daily torque and set and run compliance
Monitoring equipment calibration, supporting surface quality reviews, guiding teams on product standards, and participating in daily quality meetings to resolve issues and ensure required checks are completed
Assisting with Safety Stock and Stagnant Car Report oversight
Representing the Body Shop in internal and external audits (ISO, BIQ, torque, weld, and GQR audits)
Acting as the primary contact for Tool Equipment Bulletins and dispense material suppliers (Henkel and Chemico)
Providing ongoing support to Production Shift Leaders, Group Leaders, and other departments as needed

Degree: Preferred not mandatory in Engineering
Years of experience: Open to entry level
