Distribution Financial Analyst

They are seeking a Distribution Financial Analyst to support organizational change by analyzing cost structures, improving financial processes, and collaborating with senior clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Analyze cost structures and recommend process and financial improvements across DLA Distribution headquarters
Develop and implement financial and analytical models to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation
Apply Agile methodology to manage timelines, track deliverables, and respond to evolving requirements
Conduct enterprise-level cost analysis and prepare data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and accountability
Support financial reporting, forecasting, and budget formulation aligned with DLA strategic goals
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree is required in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
Minimum five years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) finance, budgeting, or analytical roles; DLA Distribution experience preferred
Strong knowledge of DoD financial management processes, including budgeting, accounting, and cost analysis
Demonstrated experience in business case analysis (BCA), forensic budget analysis, and evaluating operational costs across multiple funding streams
Proven ability to assess and prioritize capital investments, including commercial leases and real property planning initiatives
Experience managing projects using Agile methodology
Active US Government Secret Clearance

Preferred
DLA Distribution experience preferred
Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DoD Financial Management Certification preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate complex organizations and build strong client relationships
