Responsibilities
Providing advanced technical financial analyses and reporting to inform organizational decision-making and forecasting activities
Developing predictive models to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
Managing a variety of programmatic projects, business plans, and cost/benefit analyses, creating models, workflows, and solutions for financial and healthcare industry challenges
Participating in annual budget development by integrating historical data, industry trends, and financial models to ensure accurate forecasting
Assisting with month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, researching variances, and automating financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Supporting financial reporting and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including audit requests and operational meetings
Conducting research and analyzing data to develop dashboards that improve performance insights and understanding of clinical and financial metrics
Utilizing statistical methods and tools to identify patterns and insights within large datasets, enhancing decision-making processes
Creating and refining financial scorecards, benchmarking projects, and metrics to monitor performance against goals and industry standards
Forecasting detailed month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial estimations based on current data and trends
Facilitating knowledge transfer to management teams through improved reporting dashboards and data visualization tools
Analyzing financial information to inform investment decisions and assess the impact of transactions on the company's financial health
Developing tools and procedures for data analysis, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring high-quality, auditable financial documentation
Identifying opportunities for process improvements, technological advancements, and automation to streamline financial reporting and analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related areas
Proven proficiency in spreadsheet software, databases, and financial software applications such as Workday and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Financial modeling and statistical analysis techniques
Excellent communication skills
Strategic thinking
Ability to work with large datasets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Detail-oriented and organized
Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
