Imaging Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical imaging systems at client sites, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction
Support installations, upgrades, validations, and preventive maintenance
Deliver a professional and consultative service, acting as a primary technical contact for designated facilities
Maintain accurate service logs, part usage records, and customer communication
Engage in OEM and internal technical training programs to continue developing modality-specific knowledge
Collaborate with regional and national service teams to escalate complex cases and share field insights
Qualification
Required
1+ years' experience in medical imaging engineering, biomedical engineering, or military medical engineering
Solid foundation in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electromechanical and electronic medical devices
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with healthcare staff and internal teams
Comfortable using digital platforms and Microsoft Office software
Valid driver's license required
Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
Must pass a background check and post-offer drug screen
Must meet customer access requirements, including necessary immunizations or additional screenings
