Information Technology Support Specialist

The Information Technology Support Specialist will serve as the front line for customer needs, addressing hardware and software issues while maintaining communication and documentation.

Computer Software

Responsibilities

Customer service and front line for all customer needs
Respond to all issues (hardware and software), prioritize as necessary and resolve
Document calls and procedures, work/time involved and resolution
Work ongoing customer projects and communication
Maintain office, workspace and inventory levels
Other as assigned

Required

Reliable transportation and Valid driver's license. Ability to travel and service customer on-site is a must. Travel between company offices will also be required
At least a high school degree (prefer some college)
Flexibility in scheduling and number of hours worked per week
Ability to take ownership of tasks and ensure complete resolution
Articulate technical information and convey to non-technical people
Attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
Self-motivation and ability to learn new skills quickly

Preferred

Experience with routers and firewalls
Experience with Remote Desktop Services
Good interpersonal and customer care skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems (MAC and Linux would also be nice)
Familiar with Active directory, Exchange, Azure, Office 365, AWS etc
Familiar with virtualization and assorted products
Strong understanding of networking and experience with network devices
Basic understanding of PC/computer hardware set-up and configuration
High school or equivalent
Troubleshooting: 1 year
Windows: 2 years
