Responsibilities
Providing centralized support for standard computing devices and software
Acting as a single point of contact for telephone and deskside support
Handling phone calls, electronically submitted questions, and walk-in customers requesting assistance with OIT services and desktop applications
Supporting computer imaging, inventory management, computer ordering and installation
Providing standard technical support to partnership areas
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving computer-related and telephone problems
Receiving and processing service requests
Qualification
Required
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of computer operating systems, and productivity applications
Understanding of computer networks and telephone services
In-depth troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve computer-related and telephone problems
Ability to handle phone calls, electronically submitted questions, and walk-in customers requesting assistance with OIT services and desktop applications
Support for computer imaging, inventory management, computer ordering and installation
Providing standard technical support to partnership areas
Preferred
Service Desk or related IT technical experience
CompTIA certification
Other related technical certifications
