Responsibilities
Work on query mining, generation, ranking and recommendation modeling solutions
Work on product features from offline to online to land user-facing features on search entrypoints
Conduct data analysis to understand user search journey, identify frictions, issues and opportunities, and turn learnings into ideas and solutions
Own projects end-to-end from initial idea to design, analysis, implementation, experiment and launch
Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Storefront, Platform and Personalization teams to execute product roadmap
Research, develop and implement innovative AI/ML algorithms and models for Play Search
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (C++), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
Experience in experimental design, analysis, and performance tools
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields
2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms
Experience developing accessible technologies
Experience in distributed computing, information retrieval, data mining and machine learning
