Project Planner
HENSOLDT is a leading high-technology company seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their Project and Programme Management Office. The role involves developing and assuring high-quality, integrated project schedules to enable the successful delivery of complex programmes.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules aligned to programme and contractual milestones
Ensure cross-project alignment and visibility of critical paths and dependencies
Maintain baselines and control approved schedule changes
Ensure schedules are logic-linked, resource-informed, and quality-assured
Maintain schedule integrity in line with PMO standards and governance
Support internal and external assurance activities
Track progress against plan and provide reliable forecasts
Identify schedule slippage and emerging risks early
Develop recovery plans and scenarios for leadership review
Identify and manage schedule risks and interdependencies
Perform 'what-if' analysis to support proactive decision-making
Support risk mitigation and recovery planning
Produce transparent, data-driven reports and dashboards
Provide planning insight to programme governance forums
Translate complex planning data into executive-level decision support
Qualification
Required
Minimum Technical qualification; Preferred a qualification in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline
Formal Training in Project Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years'; preferably 7 years' experience in project scheduling or planning within high-technology, engineering, or similar environments
Proven experience supporting complex, multi-project or programme-level schedules
Experience across Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models
Advanced proficiency in enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
Development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Critical path analysis, milestone tracking, float management
Resource loading and resource levelling
Baseline management, schedule change impact assessment, and reforecasting
Schedule performance tracking and forecasting (EVM principles desirable)
Scenario planning and recovery scheduling
Strong reporting and data analysis skills (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
Integration of planning data with delivery tools (e.g., Jira)
Schedule assurance, data quality checks, and audit readiness
Confident stakeholder engagement across engineering, delivery, and commercial teams
