They are looking for an Engineering Intern to provide support for Gaspac testing, bridging the gap between design engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure successful testing of turbomachinery products.

Responsibilities
Bridge the gap between design engineering, manufacturing and operations to provide safe and successful testing of turbomachinery products
Collaborate with customers and project engineers on test plans and procedures to validate product functionality
Perform post-test seal inspection
Review and evaluate test data
Investigate test stand failures, participate in seal failure analysis, troubleshooting, root-cause-analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
Utilize Nexus Engineering system to create final documentation packages for customer orders
Provide recommendations for design modifications to enhance future testability and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Industrial Engineering
Proficient skills in MS Office programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to read assembly and part detail drawings
Proficient utilizing basic hand tools
Show high attention to detail and possess good organizational skills
Promote a trusting team atmosphere and group collaboration through daily cadence
Have a desire to learn and promote self-development
Preferred
The ideal candidate will be within their 3rd or 4th year of education and have some experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Knowledge and understanding of 2D drafting and 3D modeling, with a preference for SolidWorks experience
