Responsibilities
Build relationships with school administration, parents, and staff
Lead part-time staff in managing afterschool sites and day camps
Ensure licensing compliance and deliver outstanding service
Support YMCA's fundraising efforts for program access
Onboard, train, and resource staff for childcare programs
Manage financial responsibilities associated with programs
Recruit staff and promote programs
Be visible to part-time teams in YMCA programs
Qualification
Required
Supervision experience with at least one year of direct reports: Hiring, Coaching, Managing a team who directly report to him/her
Demonstrated ability to be inclusive, compassionate, and caring toward all
Minimum of 2 years of experience in management, education or business with a demonstrated ability to build and coach a team of individuals successfully
Minimum of 1 or more years of experience in multi-unit childcare management
Strong skills in planning, recruitment, customer service and program quality assurance
Proven ability to build teams and relationships—able to build rapport within the local community including school administration and a proven ability to communicate effectively with all
Ability to lift to 50 pounds, and travel to required destinations in his/her territory
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Preferred applicants will have a BS/BA degree and/or are currently a Director Certified through Child Care Licensing
