Responsibilities
Analyze and improve the performance of code to advance the quality across a wide range of high-performance products
Independently craft and develop complex optimization passes, and code generation on x86 AMD processors
Conduct Performance Analysis of the compiler
Influence both tactical and strategic directions of Visual Studio technically as the compiler champion at the customer site
Act as the customer champion internally
Qualification
Required
Strong C++ programming experience
Debug techniques and methodologies
Hands-on experience in complex compiler code generation and optimization in at least one major general-purpose compiler for C++ for x86 or any ISA platform strongly preferred
Ability to develop a close working relationship with customers and other performance/compiler teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
