Responsibilities
Supporting projects focused on electric infrastructure for California's regulated utilities to address grid reliability, hardening and undergrounding
Transforming sketches, conceptual designs, mark-ups and other pieces of technical information into complete drawings, details and construction documents for a wide variety of projects involving engineering, architecture, landscape architecture and land surveying elements
Contribute to all stages of project delivery
Qualification
Required
An associate degree or certification in industrial design, landscape design, engineering or architectural fundamentals, or computer-aided design (CAD) is preferred
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3d, GIS, SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications
Ability to prepare comprehensive construction documents
Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and industry regulations
Capability to perform technical reviews, follow quality assurance plans and execute quality control processes
Ability to problem-solve, communicate and collaborate with peers and project stakeholders
Are reliable problem solvers with consistent and complete abilities across categories of project planning, technical aptitude and teamwork
Has at least 7 years of relevant experience
