Maintenance Technical Trainer
Global Recruiters of Great Plains (GRN) is seeking a Maintenance Technical Trainer who will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs focused on maintenance procedures and safety protocols. The role is essential for ensuring that maintenance team members develop the necessary skills for equipment reliability and safe operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage technical training content for maintenance teams
Create and maintain procedures for technical tasks
Maintain training records and manage the Learning Management System (LMS)
Assess maintenance personnel competencies and provide development guidance
Train across all three shifts as needed
Support the Maintenance Manager with departmental needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
10 years of experience in maintenance or automation
Experience with CMMS (inventory, work orders, on-site requests)
Proficient with computers and MS Office
Strong communication and presentation skills for group and one-on-one training
Reliable attendance and a servant-leadership mindset
Must follow the company's Code of Conduct and Attendance Policy
Ability to sit for extended periods; finger dexterity for typing and writing
Adequate vision for reading small print and computer screens
Ability to speak and hear clearly
Ability to walk throughout the facility and perform occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
Preferred
Prior technician and training experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
Experience with electrical troubleshooting and automation systems is a plus
