Responsibilities
Collaboration with internal and external customers to identify and document new requirements; facilitate, decompose, and allocate software tasking; and coordinate with software development and test teams to ensure proper implementation
The successful candidate will leverage expertise in requirements analysis, system architecture, design, development oversight, process improvement, and testing, development, review, and enhancement of customer-facing and internal technical documentation
Qualification
Required
Seven years' experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required, if COR determines that the position's activities include CWIP activities
Five years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Preferred
Experience with and/or understanding of Requirements analysis, decomposition, and tracking
Roadmap and Sprint planning
User Interface design and testing
Databases/SQL
REST Services
Ticketing systems (JIRA, Redmine, or similar)
Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to clearly communicate and review architecture and design concepts
