Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the cluster, ensuring that all projects and activities are on schedule and align with the initiative's objectives
Serve as the main point of contact for team members, external collaborators, and stakeholders, coordinating communication and fostering productive relationships
Organize and coordinate cluster events, including quarterly working group meetings, think tank workshops, and the grand launch
Handle logistics, scheduling, invitations, and materials for events to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all participants
Compile and maintain records of research activities, meeting minutes, and project progress, ensuring documentation is organized and accessible
Contribute to the creation of the annual report, summarizing the cluster's achievements, research advancements, and industry impact
Coordinate outreach activities to build awareness of the cluster's mission and research, working closely with Dartmouth's communications and marketing teams
Facilitate partnerships with industry stakeholders, such as the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and wearable tech companies, to expand the cluster's impact and reach
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, and coordinating travel arrangements for team members
Support the Lead Researcher and other team members in managing workflows, timelines, and deadlines for ongoing projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Biosensing, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field with a strong understanding of wearable technology or biosensing applications
2+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, or a similar role, preferably within a research, academic, or healthcare-focused environment
Proficiency in project management, with demonstrated organizational and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of coordinating effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
Experience with budget management, event planning, and document preparation
Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello)
A strong passion for wearable technology, health, and wellness, with a desire to contribute to a transformative research initiative in sensing technology
