Responsibilities
Support and maintain an internal application used to manage financial and operational approval workflows
Serve as a primary point of contact for application-related questions, issues, and support requests
Collaborate with business users, finance teams, and IT stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and resolve application defects
Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and follow-through
Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for process and system improvements
Assist with configuration changes, enhancements, and minor feature updates in collaboration with development teams
Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities related to application updates
Develop and maintain clear system, process, and support documentation
Maintain organized tracking of requests, issues, and resolutions in a fast-paced, chat-heavy environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Prior experience working in IT, application support, or solutions engineering roles
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical teams
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Oil and gas industry experience preferred
Experience supporting applications related to financial approvals, accounting, or operational workflows
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP or financial reporting platforms
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar technologies is a plus
Experience in a highly collaborative, enterprise-scale environment
