Responsibilities

Implement, enhance, maintain, and monitor infrastructure systems/applications

Provide production support and assist in executing strategic roadmaps with focus on server administration and management of associated infrastructure systems/applications (e.g. Physical Servers, Virtual Server Hosts/Storage, VMWare, Backup Systems)

Support systems/applications including but not limited to Email, virtual desktop infrastructure, network systems, cloud computing, backup systems and security systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related, or an equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience

Professional certifications in technology from vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, and/or related, or equivalent work experience with technology from these vendors

2 years' experience in Information Technology field supporting and maintaining infrastructure/applications

Working knowledge in setup and troubleshooting of server hardware and operating systems

Familiar with systems administration and data management

Familiar with network infrastructure components, including hardware and security tools

Knowledgeable of virtualization solutions

Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with end-users

Knowledge of information security and how it relates to management of infrastructure

Good written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
