Responsibilities

Guide Marketing in new product briefs and conception definitions to ensure design to Agility / Profitability / L’Oreal For the Future (L4TF)
Analyze and drive launch viability in terms of cost, timeline and sustainability
Lead global conceptions, working alongside operational partners located across the globe in 5 manufacturing zones
Develop and manage project timelines, identifying and tracking the key tasks and milestones and minimizing areas of risk to ensure on-time launches in compliance with the L’Oreal Quality system
Drive risk assessment with cross-functional partners within Operations and Research and Innovation (R&I) to create and track mitigation plans and secure approval of sound, technical backup options to maintain project timelines
Present launch reviews and drive risk escalations to Operational and Divisional leadership teams
Lead project review meetings and drive resolution of roadblocks impacting projects
Manage key evolutions to the brand catalogue
Partner with Marketing, Operations and R&I on harmonization, profitability and sustainability initiatives. Coordinate the implementation of all required legal and regulatory updates to catalog formula and packaging

Required

5-7+ years of experience in project management for launching of global products, including working cross-functionally with Operations teams such as Manufacturing, Sourcing, Packaging, as well as Brand Marketing and Sustainability
A completed Bachelor's degree in Packaging (Engineering, Science, Technology, Design), or a related engineering/technical discipline is required
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for legal sponsorship now or in the future
The ability to be onsite, in the office, as this is an essential function of the position, including our NY and NJ sites
Proficient PC skills - MS Office software and capable of building executive presentations
Also Proficient in the use of MS Project
Good communication skills, to be able to deal effectively with all levels of our organization and our suppliers
Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information
Assume Leadership role of Brand Development team and special projects as needed
Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends and technologies

Preferred

French Language skill is a plus
Travel to vendors and plants will be a requirement (10-15% of time)
