Responsibilities
Take ownership of ERP administration by entering supplier solicitations and purchase orders with high accuracy, ensuring all supplier updates are maintained in real-time
Partner closely with the Production Manager to expedite orders, ensuring the manufacturing floor has what it needs exactly when it needs it
Enhance and meticulously maintain our sourcing database to ensure reliable data for the entire organization
Research and develop relationships with new suppliers for materials, services, and supplies
Negotiate competitive pricing and delivery schedules; prepare detailed quote comparisons to support informed supplier selection
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and participate in process improvement events to streamline company spending
Act as a reliable point of contact between manufacturing, engineering, finance, and business teams
Qualification
Required
3 years of previous procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
Detail-Oriented for data review and entry
Ability to read fabrication and machining prints and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations
Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and follow-up
A methodical approach to resolving discrepancies and finding solutions
Sit, stand, climb stairs daily
Lift at least 25 pounds infrequently
