Quality Technician
Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions. They are seeking a Quality Technician responsible for ensuring product quality standards are met in production lines, including investigation and reporting to support manufacturing operations.

Ensure quality of product meets company’s standards
Investigation and corrective actions of vendor related opportunities
Document nonconformance reports
Coordinate with production and quality leaders on a variety of quality issues
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer knowledge
Problem solving skills
Critical thinking skills
Basic knowledge of inventory and manufacturing software; internal ERP and understand the Mobile Device and scanner
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and convert in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ensure quality of product meets company's standards
Investigation and corrective actions of vendor related opportunities
Document nonconformance reports
Coordinate with production and quality leaders on a variety of quality issues
Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals
Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English)
Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, material specifications, frame prints, measurements, schedules, part prints
Must be able to meet time deadlines for company projects
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Must demonstrate understanding of capability studies
Must understand appropriate equipment including: Calipers, Tape Measure, Gages, Micrometers, height gages
Must possess successful problem-solving skills
Must be able to adapt to new system and process integration
Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow team members, customers, etc
Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations
Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day
Must comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Must be able to perform root cause analysis and containment processes
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Previous quality experience preferred, willing to train the right candidate
College degree is preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred
Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred
