Responsibilities
Develop custom production data science solutions that address and improve business challenges
Work closely with Domo’s Product Team to inform and develop data science products
Balance time between client calls, on-site interactions, and independent project work
Mentor clients on data science best practices and enable them to understand their Domo data science solutions
Contribute to building Domo data science products, designing apps, writing knowledge base articles, and developing sales and marketing solutions
Qualification
Required
University degree and equivalent industry experience with an emphasis in data science, statistics, behavioral science, computer science, or related field
Strong R and/or Python skills (3+ years)
Knowledge and demonstrated application of a breadth of statistical and data science approaches
Portfolio of at least one independently completed data science and/or statistics project, including visualizations, presentations, reports, etc. (a relevant class project can be considered for junior-level applicants)
Experience in any type of customer-facing role (1+ years)
Flexibility to travel for work as much as 20% of time
Strong written and oral skills
Detail oriented
Exceptional time management skills
Preferred
Master's Degree or PhD with an emphasis in data science, statistics, behavioral science, computer science, or related field
Portfolio of independently completed data science and/or statistics projects, including visualizations, presentations, reports, etc. (industry-specific portfolio preferred)
Evidence of developing and deploying business-relevant data science or machine learning solutions in production
Experience teaching statistics and/or data science, with evidence of success (such as favorable course evaluations, etc.)
Project management experience
Experience using Domo (1+ years)
