Associate IT Information Security Analyst
RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Associate IT Information Security Analyst to join their team, challenging the status quo in radiology. The role involves providing operational support for the Information Security Program, evaluating technology solutions, and assisting in policy creation and maintenance.

Responsibilities
Act as a hands-on technical specialist and resource by providing incident response (IR) and security operations support, including detection, response and containment of advanced threats to the organization's IT environment
Utilize information security tool sets to continuously monitor endpoint assets, network activity, and corresponding data flows to proactively ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical data
Triage, investigate and manage IR cases through the entire IR event lifecycle
Assist in maintaining up-to-date cybersecurity threat intelligence as it pertains to the healthcare industry "threatscape" by utilizing open-source and proprietary intelligence feeds
Assist in the development and preparation of information security metrics and intelligence briefs for upper-management's situational awareness
Research current trends in information security, privacy, and compliance along with associated technology issues; particularly as they pertain to the healthcare industry to improve the performance and capabilities of the company's threat and vulnerability management program
Conduct evaluations and proof of concepts/value (POCs/POVs) of new technology solutions that will keep the company on the leading edge of detection, response and containment capabilities
Assist in the deployment of new information security technology solutions
Create and maintain system documentation and workflows
Other tasks and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, or equivalent
Associate degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or related field, or the equivalent in relevant and applicable experience
Two (2) years' experience deploying/supporting IT services and systems
Availability for scheduled on-call evenings and weekends
Ability to travel occasionally to business or operational sites; a reliable means of transportation is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or related field
Experience in security monitoring, incident response, forensic investigation, and vulnerability analysis
Experience with security technologies, i.e., various monitoring and log aggregation platforms, penetration testing frameworks, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions
Familiarity with US and international data privacy / protection laws
SANS GIAC Certifications
Previous information technology experience in a healthcare environment
