Responsibilities
Design/model and detail the design of moderately complex projects
Work closely with the Engineering and Fabrication teams to facilitate the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives
Pay attention to detail and be proficient in gathering project details and communicating with our engineering, survey, VDC, and fabrication teams
Prepare 3D models and drafted plans and details, following design codes and governmental regulations
Create drafting models using CAD and 3D Modeling software
Aid our engineering teams in preparing designs or construction plans in Civil 3D
Model structural design layouts
Model buildings and equipment
Prepare 3D coordination models for construction teams
Draft structural steel fabrication detailed plans
Prepare tank or process equipment designs in Inventor, or other software
Qualification
Required
4+ years of related professional experience or other comparable experience
Experience using Autodesk CAD and 3D Modeling Software (Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Tekla, SDS, Inventor, Etc.)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and able to motivate others
Goal-oriented and always looking for ways to improve
Preferred
Civil design and detailing
Survey related plat drafting and mapping systems
Architectural design and layout using Revit or other similar software
Structural design and layout using Revit or other similar software
Structural steel fabrication detailing
API and ASME Tank and pressure vessel detailing
Process equipment piping detailing
Experience working with Inventor, Civil 3D, Revit, and SolidWorks
