Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of warehouse moves and facility transitions
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and move schedules
Coordinate inventory transfers, equipment moves, and layout/setup of new facilities
Partner with warehouse operations, transportation, IT, and facilities teams to ensure continuity of service
Manage third-party vendors including movers, carriers, installers, and contractors
Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies; proactively resolve issues
Ensure inventory accuracy during moves, including counts, reconciliations, and system updates
Oversee cutover and go-live activities with minimal downtime
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7 years of project management experience, preferably within warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional operational projects
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics workflows
Experience coordinating vendors and managing project budgets
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience managing warehouse relocations, expansions, or consolidations
Familiarity with WMS systems and inventory control processes
Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, or similar)
