Executive Analyst & Assistant to Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities Services
The University of California, Riverside is seeking an Executive Analyst & Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Facilities Services. This role involves providing high-level administrative support, conducting research, developing reports, and managing various operational functions within Facilities Services.

Responsibilities
Independently research issues, develop reports, implement programs and present recommendations to management both orally and in writing
Has full responsibility for executive level administrative coordination and support to the leadership of Facilities Services including the Associate Vice Chancellor
Possess political acumen in order to appropriately respond to individuals, departments or external entities handling highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact
Utilizes various systems to prepare analytic reports, summaries and key performance indicators for FS/ASSET leadership
Manages the work order system infrastructure
Transacts recharge billing of approximately $18M in revenue for work orders and premium service billing, over $16M in annual utility bills, and processes $11M in annual procurement transactions through 9,000 purchase orders and 360 pro-card transactions annually
Analyzes, audits and reconciles transactions in accordance with FS Guide to Services and service agreements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
4 - 7 years of related experience
Familiarity with the organization's processes, protocols and procedures
Knowledge of federal regulations such as FERPA
Solid analytical/problem-solving skills
Political acumen and sensitivities to the differing perspectives and political circumstances within all levels of the organization as well as the Office of the President and external constituencies
Strong service orientation
Strong skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, faculty, alumni/donors, students and external constituencies, both verbally and in writing
Advising and counseling skills
Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Preferred
Thorough knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs
