Responsibilities
Stabilize and support an existing on‑prem Microsoft platform while leading cloud‑modernization efforts on Azure
Architect and develop full‑stack solutions using .NET, React/Next.js, and Azure
Drive technical decision‑making and modern engineering best practices
Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards for security, performance, and maintainability
Collaborate with product, design, security, and operations teams to deliver new capabilities
Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and ongoing production improvements
Optimize performance across APIs, databases, and front‑end rendering
Implement strong security practices across identity, secrets, and data protection
Partner with DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to cloud transformation in regulated environments
Qualification
Required
Strong background with Microsoft on‑prem environments, including .NET/C#, SQL Server, Windows Server/IIS, Active Directory, monitoring/logging, and production‑first engineering practices
Proven experience designing and delivering solutions on Azure (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, networking basics, hybrid connectivity, Entra ID, RBAC, resiliency patterns)
Hands‑on DevOps experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform)
Familiarity with modern engineering patterns such as cloud‑ready API design, event‑driven architectures, observability, and data modernization
Experience working with enterprise customers undergoing cloud modernization and comfort operating in regulated environments
Passion for GenAI and modern engineering approaches
Experience in banking or other regulated industries
Front‑end and back‑end modern stack experience (React + TypeScript, Node.js/Express, PostgreSQL)
