Responsibilities

Assist the engineering team in the execution of ongoing projects
Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project development
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Assist in conducting tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of MEP systems
Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address potential issues
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
Generate reports and summaries to communicate project progress
Attend meetings and generate meeting minutes
Help review equipment submittals and developing and update document tracking logs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals
Participate in team meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback
Assist commissioning agents with conducting onsite functional performance testing for MEP systems
Assist in project trend reviews for Mechanical systems to ensure equipment and systems are operating as intended
Engage in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills
Engage in learning about new control systems and MEP equipment
Seek opportunities for continuous learning and development within the engineering field

Mechanical EngineeringCAD/BIM standardsHVAC system designBuilding CommissioningExcelMicrosoft ProductsResearchAnalysisTeamworkDetail-orientedAdaptability

Required

Currently enrolled in an accredited university majoring in Mechanical Engineering or other related studies
FE/EIT is a plus
Trained to utilize CAD/BIM standards
Familiarity with HVAC system design, and Building Commissioning is a plus
Involvement in ASHRAE is a plus
Must be proficient with Excel and Microsoft Products
Must have a valid Drivers License and mode of transportation
Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas; detail-oriented
