Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake Developer for a Contract with a client. The ideal candidate will develop high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and design optimized data models using advanced SQL and Snowflake architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data models, schemas, and warehouse objects aligned with business requirements and data‑warehousing best practices (Dim/Facts, SCD, historical and delta loads)
Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL/PLSQL, Python, and integration tools such as dbt or Airflow
Write, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake features—including Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, and Cloning—for high‑performance data processing
Load and unload data from external stages (S3, Azure Blob, GCS) into Snowflake and manage semi‑structured data (JSON/XML) using Snowflake’s native capabilities
Implement robust data governance and security practices, including RBAC, encryption, data masking, and audit controls
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, support analytics needs and deliver high‑quality cloud data solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
6–8 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, or cloud data‑warehouse development
Strong client‑required proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and deep understanding of core data‑warehousing concepts (Dim/Facts, SCD, delta loads, historical loads)
Proven hands‑on experience with Snowflake architecture, including data loading/unloading, RBAC, Streams/Tasks, Time Travel, and working with semi‑structured data (JSON/XML)
