Software Component Test Intern

They are seeking motivated students for their Summer 2026 Internship Program, where interns will gain hands-on engineering experience and contribute to real-world projects in the Global PACCAR Electronics organization.

Responsibilities
Support and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and product quality
Execute test plans and collaborate with engineers to refine and validate test procedures
Work closely with teams across software development, electrical engineering, controls engineering, IT, and testing
Perform limited local travel in the Puget Sound area (up to 10%)
Qualification
Required
Currently a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree (graduation date 2026–2027) in a STEM discipline such as Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, Mechanical), Computer Science, other related STEM fields, or currently enrolled in a master's program in a related discipline
Fundamental knowledge of Java, C++, or C#
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to manage workload, adapt to shifting priorities, and take initiative
Strong presentation and technical documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with basic circuits and electrical wiring
