Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Emerald Technologies is a fast‑growing PCBA contract manufacturer supporting aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and commercial markets. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will help shape how products are built, improve processes, and drive technical excellence across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing readiness reviews and communicate build strategies to cross‑functional teams
Review customer drawings and documentation for manufacturability and compliance
Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, tooling requirements, and process documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput
Analyze quality issues, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions
Specify, evaluate, and justify equipment, fixtures, and special processes for production
Provide technical support to manufacturing, test engineering, and production teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
7–10 years of experience in PCBA, cable assembly, or electromechanical manufacturing
Experience in contract manufacturing, preferably supporting military/aerospace customers
Strong knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 standards
Hands‑on experience with Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency with CAD tools and MES systems (Aegis preferred)
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and lead cross‑functional technical initiatives
