Sales Operations Analyst
Upstate Coin & Gold is seeking a practical, data-driven Sales Operations Analyst I to support their Sales & Trading department. The role involves managing data pipelines, automating pricing workflows, and maintaining reporting infrastructure to provide actionable insights for the sales team.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain data flows within AWS Quicksight to ensure the sales team has access to real-time, accurate data
Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in AWS QuickSight to track KPIs, sales trends, and inventory metrics
Utilize advanced Excel macros to automate manual tasks, specifically regarding pricing sheets, dealer communication, and inventory updates
Streamline sales workflows to reduce friction and allow the sales team to focus on selling rather than data entry
Monitor and execute critical daily operational tasks, including Auto-Pricing and Platform Gold Pricing
Territory Management
CRM and Reporting
Analyze sales data to identify areas of opportunity in pricing strategies, margin analysis, and sales representative productivity
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to ensure competitive pricing across all products
Provide leadership with actionable insights derived from clean, structured data
Pricing Updates: Auto-Pricing, Platform Gold Pricing, Pre-33/Silver Dollar Pricing Updates, and General Metals Pricing
Dealer Communication: Dealer Sheet generation and Constant Contact Dealer Sheet Link Emails
Analysis: Comp Analysis and Greysheet Monthly Analysis
Maintenance: General data pipeline maintenance tasks
Qualification
Required
Python: Intermediate proficiency required. Must be able to write scripts for automation, data cleaning, and process optimization
SQL: Strong proficiency required. Ability to write complex queries, joins, and manage data within a data warehouse environment
Excel: Expert level required. Must be comfortable with VBA/Macros and complex formulas
CRM: Ability to operate within Salesforce at a proficient level
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Business Analyst, or Data Analyst role
Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift and Amazon QuickSight (or similar BI tools like Tableau/PowerBI)
Strong analytical/problem-solving mindset with an attention to detail
Ability to communicate technical data concepts to non-technical sales stakeholders
