Responsibilities
Evaluates system specifications, installs enterprise computer systems, configures systems, establishes standards, ensures hardware/software compatibility and maintains workstations and server systems focusing on the Operating system and the network
Possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines
Have specific experience in the use of MS window server environments and various CAD/CAM, database, MS Office and Web enabled applications
Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems
Employee is expected to routinely cross fields in the completion of somewhat difficult and varied assignments
Must be capable of updating or repairing computer systems
Must have specific experience in the maintenance of Operating Systems and support applications, in a centralized and distributed server environment
Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid, state issued driver's license
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in associated discipline from an accredited academic institution or equivalent experience through technical training, completion of a recognized certification program, or experience
Requires at least 12 years of experience in computer system related areas of expertise
Must have specific experience in the maintenance of Operating Systems and support applications, in a centralized and distributed server environment
Possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines
Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a valid, state issued driver's license
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop operating system
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Windows Server 2008/12/16 implementation, configurations and maintenance
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SQL server
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in large scale, shared storage solutions EMC SAM, NetApp SAN and iSCSI devices
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Windows Virtual environments to include Hyper-V and VMWare
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Remote Desktop computing environments to include CITRIX, VD, RDP, and ICA
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in high availability fault-tolerant computing solutions
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Microsoft failover clustering in 2008/12/16
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Microsoft domain services to include Active Directory, DNS, SCHP, Remote Access services and Distributed File Systems
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge, skills and practical experience in Blade-based systems, physical desktop systems and Thin Client Technologies (Wyse)
Familiarity with JSIG/RMF compliance, system categorization and documentation requirements
Familiarity with JSIG/RMF security controls selection, implementation, assessment and auditing
Familiarity with JSIG/RMF continuous monitoring
Familiarity with secure communication through Router, Switches
