Responsibilities
Work under minimal supervision. May shift manpower for their assigned area or process to meet production goals
Ensuring operators have everything they need to perform the day to day operation of assigned area
Reduced waste by over 15% utilizing lean manufacturing methods, recognized by management in yearly review for savings
Work with engineering to ensure bill of material, work instructions and customer drawings were accurate for production build
Executed safety requirements by conforming to the company standards and department procedures
Supervised employees, instruct employees on company policies, company procedures and department guidelines. Recommend and initiated to direct supervisor on personnel actions such as promotions, employee evaluations, disciplinary actions and resolution of grievances, maintained production and time records
Provide formal and OJT training to production workers as required
Solves production related problems as necessary and notifies production supervisor/manager of any problems that do not get resolved
Perform other duties as required and requested by management
Qualification
Required
A High school diploma or GED
3 years of experience in composites production or other specialized production environment
Must have Level II Trainer experience or have had previous leadership experience
As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons

Preferred
Level III or Level IV, Trainer experience preferred
