Manufacturing Engineering Sr Staff

Responsibilities
Analyzing site’s equipment and supporting the preparation of capital planning to strategically meet site’s future needs while also driving improvements
Analyzing and optimizing SMT manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
Identifying and driving implementation of technological improvements across the facility through automation initiatives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, maintenance, manufacturing experts, finance and capital planners to ensure seamless implementation of new equipment and/or technologies
Assist in validation process of new equipment to ensure quality and production standards meet or exceed capabilities of existing equipment and systems
Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed
Presenting relevant capital and new technology projects to management and business unit experts to make sure projections align with desired timelines and financial goals
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or any related engineering discipline
Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130
Preferred
Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience with artificial intelligence, automation and robotics
Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
