GLO - Information Technology Summer Intern (Clerk II)
The Texas General Land Office is seeking an Information Technology Summer Intern (Clerk II) within the Information Technology Services Department. This role involves supporting IT projects, assisting with technology initiatives, and contributing to the agency's digital modernization efforts.

Responsibilities
Support assigned IT projects by performing research, analysis, testing, configuration, or implementation tasks under the guidance of ITS staff
Assist in reviewing current workflows, procedures, and systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities and support implementation of approved changes
Assist with gathering, organizing, validating, and analyzing information or data to support operational, planning, or decision-making activities
Assist with routine IT operational activities such as documentation, tracking, coordination, monitoring, or administrative support during peak workload periods
Create clear documentation of tasks, processes, findings, and outcomes; communicate status updates and results to ITS team members and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Be a US Citizen or be eligible to work in the US
Have at least 30 semester credit hours or more in an accredited college or university (transcripts required)
This position is based in Austin, TX. Candidates must be currently located in the Austin area or willing to relocate at their own expense. Relocation assistance is not provided
Preferred
Experience in clerical work
MS Office with focus on Excel
Coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
