Responsibilities
Conduct security audits and assess system compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies
Implement security controls in cloud and hybrid environments
Review technical and personnel details to assess the entire threat landscape
Guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones
Translate security concepts for clients to secure their mission-critical systems
Qualification
Required
Experience conducting security audits, assessing system compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, and implementing security controls in cloud and hybrid environments
Experience with security automation, endpoint protection, and incident response processes
Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), security monitoring tools such as Splunk or SIEM solutions, zero-trust architecture, and vulnerability assessment frameworks
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or Computer Science, or 5+ years of experience in security and compliance roles in lieu of a degree
Preferred
Experience working in DoW or IC environments preferred
Experience with RMF or ATO processes
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or AWS Certified Security – Specialty Certification
