$25/hr - $25/hrEmpire Today is seeking a Warehouse Installation Associate to join their hardworking Installation Team. This role involves managing daily tasks that contribute to successful installation projects, including inventory management and supporting the installation department.

Responsibilities
Receive/store materials and inventory
Prepare/stage inventory for upcoming installations
Order picking
Load materials/supplies to assigned subcontractors
Handle/process returned product
Report and correct inventory discrepancies
Conduct inventory cycle counts
Conduct proper safety inspections of all warehouse machinery and equipment as required
Audit each project to ensure materials are available and scope of work matches the sales contract
Ensure timely loadout of installation subcontractors
Adheres to all posted Federal and State requirements, and all Company safety and operational policies and SOPs
Conducts thorough, accurate, and frequent inventory cycle counts in accordance to the SOP
Accounts for accurate physical inventories by performing a thorough inventory in accordance to all SOP’s
Maintains a safe and clean physical condition of the warehouse and product through organization that is conducive to a clean, organized, efficient and safe environment in accordance to all SOP’s
Operates warehouse machinery including, forklift, scissor lift, and carpet cutting machines, in a safe and effective manner in accordance to company and safety SOP’s and policies
Conducts daily and weekly safety warehouse walk-through’s as assigned
Performs machinery safety checks and maintains record log as assigned
Maintains a clean and safe physical condition of the installer loading areas and dumpster area of the parking lot to ensure that it meets all company policies and SOPs
Reports operational and safety discrepancies by working with direct management and executing necessary action items assigned
Completes warehouse operational daily requirements as directed by management
File and maintain all product line job jackets when jobs are completed
Provide installation support by printing worksheets and compiling worksheet packets
Take department phone calls; respond to low-level issues and forward others to Installation Coordinators and Install Managers in a timely manner
Maintain records of Service Requests and keep updated per Install Manager instructions
Ensure supply levels of all installation supplies and support materials are adequate and replace/update as needed
Track ongoing projects in department
Provide support during installer check-in each day
Serve as liaison between installation and order management to ensure all data entry issues are controlled and addressed
Prepare documents and correspondence such as lists, responses to requests for data and memorandums
Filing documents when needed
All other duties assigned or as required
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous high-volume warehouse experience
Demonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse machinery
Committed to maintaining an excellent attendance record
Strong computer skills including all Microsoft applications and order management software programs
Strong ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats
Proficient in fundamentals of carpet and flooring installations
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and decisiveness
Strong ability to multitask
Knowledge of warehouse management
High level of internal and external customer service
Flexible to work overtime when needed
Administrative assistant or document control experience
