Responsibilities

Develop, mentor, coach, and recognize employees within their organization
Develop and implement business plan objectives
Track team performance in executing and completing objectives
Ensure proper resources and tools are in place to execute team objectives
Staff the team with personnel capable of meeting business needs and objectives
Act as role model in demonstrating Lilly’s core values
Build and drive safety and quality culture within organization
Remove barriers that impact team performance
Provide technical input/support, as required
Develop local processes and procedures in accordance with the FUME system
Assure an adequate number of qualified resources to perform asset management processes
Meet the requirements of the FUME System through execution of local processes and procedures
Use and encourage Lean tools to achieve success

Required

Recognized strong team leadership, talent development skills, especially coaching and people development
Technical competence in area of responsibility (typically 5 years experience, or more)
Solid regulatory compliance knowledge (GMP, OSHA, etc.)
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas for this role, including but not limited to F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, J-1, H-1B, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, or L-1
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field

Preferred

Manufacturing /Packaging Pharma experience
Established network across Lilly functional community
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both oral and written)
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
