Medix is currently hiring for a Manufacturing Associate to join a leading medical device manufacturing team in Glendora, CA. The role involves precision work in small-part assembly under a microscope or precision soldering, contributing to the production of life-saving medical devices.

Responsibilities

Precision Assembly: Work with microscopes, forceps, and other small hand tools to assemble intricate medical device components
Machine Operation: Set up and operate specialized machinery for product formulation and packaging
Quality Inspection: Perform routine product testing and inspections to ensure 100% accuracy and safety
Documentation: Review and maintain Batch Product Records (BPR), ensuring part numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates are verified
Compliance: Operate within a Clean Room environment following strict GMP and ISO 13485 regulations

Qualification

Required

1+ year of experience performing assembly or inspections using a microscope
1+ year of experience in precision soldering (electronics or medical components)
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience working in a Clean Room environment
Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
High attention to detail and the ability to work with very small parts for extended periods
Ability to read and interpret material specifications and batch records

Preferred

Reliability: A strong work ethic and commitment to the 6:00 AM start time
Team Player: Ability to communicate respectfully and collaborate in a fast-paced lab
Trainability: A willingness to learn new processes and adapt to evolving production needs
