Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. They are seeking a Quality Inspector to perform sample resistance tests and visual inspections of resistors to ensure adherence to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Conducts sample resistance measurements and visual inspection of all types of resistors in conformance with the applicable test and inspection documents
Interprets technical information with necessary
Checks coating quality, legibility of print, overall appearance and resistance and value for in process and final Quality Control Verification for adherence to customer specifications
Checks production card to see that proper operations have been performed and signed off in correct sequence
Uses vernier calipers, micrometers or similar measurement devices of checking resistor dimension called out
Maintains proficiency to inspect products form lines other than the primary assigned line
Assists in other areas during the absence of an inspector

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations
This position is open only to applicants who qualify as 'U.S. Persons' as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15
