Responsibilities
Role: Java Kafka Developer (AWS) – build scalable, event-driven microservices on AWS
Develop backend services using Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, REST APIs
Implement Kafka producers/consumers , topic/partition strategies, and message ordering
Build real-time streaming using Kafka Streams / Connect / Schema Registry (preferred)
Integrate services with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB)
Design cloud-native patterns: microservices, event-driven architecture, async messaging
Ensure performance, scalability, fault tolerance , retries, and DLQ handling
Work with SQL/NoSQL and optimize queries/data access patterns
Containerize and deploy using Docker + EKS/ECS/Kubernetes (as applicable)
Set up CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab) and automate deployments
Monitor and troubleshoot using CloudWatch + logs/metrics/alerts , RCA and fixes
Collaborate in Agile teams; write clean code, tests, and technical documentation
